Operating the backlit touchpad is effortless; simply press a button to illuminate the keypad, making nighttime operation seamless. Designed as a direct replacement for traditional door hardware, it installs easily on both left-handed and right-handed doors that are 1 1/4" to 1 7/8" thick (up to 2.25" with an extension kit available from the manufacturer). The adjustable latch offers two different backset settings: 2 3/8" and 2 3/4", ensuring compatibility with various door configurations.
